Ain't No Party Like A Nick Louie Party...

Friday November 30th, 2007..... a day that will live in infamy, marked the date of the annual Nick Louie Christmas party. Perhaps it was the tequila, or maybe the double Jager shooters, or it might have been the free drink wrist band, but my memory of the event is less than perfect. I have tried to piece it together through the photos we collected and i am making an effort to do this party justice. Lets start at the beginning... Nick Louie is the owner of NLA, Time-bomb Trading and the ambassador of good times. This years theme was "Revenge of the Nerd" or " white T-shirt and Jiffy marker". Gman had stopped by the shop in Gastown earlier on in the day to warn us that the capacity was small and there would be line ups. Tut scooped me up around 10 and we proceeded to the party. This was the scene by 10:30...

The party was a mix of Nerds and people with too much marker on there white T's. Drinks were flowing freely and the music selection by members of The Eh! Team and Rico Uno of the Freshest Kids was on point.

Not wanting to show up as the usual nerd that i am i decided to flip the script and go with a white t and jiffy marker. My Bape x BBC x Ice Cream t that i spent 3 hours creating was a big success and it might make it into my regular rotation unless i get the $500 i'm asking for on Ebay. Yvette from Offshoot Toronto was probably the cutest nerd in the place.

And thanks to Miss Marla for the free promotion, we owe you one.
