Villains!
Our man Raj at Mehrathon asked us to be involved in a great co-lab project with LA based hat manufacturer Quintin. The idea was for us to create a cap that represented our city.
Continuing with the West Coast rap theme we began several years ago with our house label, we decided to step it up this time with an amazing kit. Having 2 stores in BC, we chose to create a Victoria/Vancouver Villains cap, playing off the NWA-inspired Villains in Black garments we have been producing for many years. We included a classic embroidered satin coaches jacket as well as an amazing tee. Hoodies are on the way as well. Co-acting as one, The Ko-op executes various projects
to cultivate and stimulate today's pop culture.
After months of hard work our first project has been completed.
Project 1 is a collaboration between *The Ko-op* and LA based headwear
company *Quintin*.
The project is aimed at showcasing some of the Canada's best retailers,
giving each a platform to create a custom hat that reflects their store and
city.
The result is a special collection of hats representing the different
influences
of canadian lifestyle and its retail landscape.
