Slightly updated from the original release, the burgundy version returns in a 9FIFTY snapback while the black holds it down with a classic 59FIFTY fitted. Limited quantities available.

Women’s footwear is back at Complex Victoria for the Fall/Winter by way of the Nike Dunk Sky High. Featuring a hidden 2.6″ wedge heel, the sneakers take the legendary silhouette to new heights with premium materials, supportive overlays and Nike’s signature cup sole. Mixtape Monday: Omen “A Glorious Cool”

Definitely more laid back than a lot of the joints we’ve been putting on lately, Omen’s A Glorious Cool is a perfect listen for the cold stay-at-home days that have been creeping in on the coast. A truly lyrical project from the Chicago emcee, the tape mixes both borrowed and original beats over its 11 tracks, with verses and hooks from select few others including King Mez. Crooks & Castles x SSUR Omerta Baseball Jacket

 

Crooks & Castles’ Holiday 2012 Collection has already started popping up at both shops, including their collaborative Baseball Jacket with Brooklyn designer SSUR. The brains behind the now infamous Comme des Fuckdown line, SSUR lended his vision to create this limited edition piece which includes a custom patterned satin lining, gold stitched shoulder patch, and tonal applique back detail. Stay tuned for more releases from Crooks over the next few weeks and swing by now to have a look at the Omerta jacket while it lasts.

Canada’s own Herschel Supply Co. is back in stock at both shops with an early drop on their Holiday collection. The lineup this time around includes many of the classic bags, backpacks, wallets, and cardholders that we’ve come to expect, along with their new plaid and paisley print pieces. Following the small shipment of tees and fleece we received earlier this season, Black Scale’s cut & sew pieces are also now available at both shops. Mixtape Monday: Curren$y “Priest Andretti”

There’s not much more to say about Curren$y that hasn’t already been said. This is a good mixtape, click the cover to get it. If you’re in the mood for something different, though, there was plenty of other good stuff this week too. Chuck Inglish provided Benny Cassette with 7 beats for Angel Dust, San Francisco’s DaVinci gave us his MOEna Lisa album for free, Hollywood Squadda (aka Squadda B) hit us with Disc 1 of LFK and weirdo producer RAP/RAP/RAP uploaded 20 new instrumentals for Strange Days. Available today in the Victoria location is this Deep Royal/University Gold-White colorway of the Air Jordan IX that has been chosen to represent ‘Calvin Bailey‘ – the 4th colorway  of Michael’s six aliases he conjured up during his first retirement in the mid-90′s. Limited quantities.

 

Fall/Winter Spotlight: Crooks & Castles Olmec Medusa Knit Sweater


Following the drop we received last week more Fall 2012 goods from Crooks & Castles have landed at both shops, including the Knit Olmec Medusa Sweater. Available in both heather grey and charcoal, the cotton sweater features an aztec-inspired flip on Crooks’ classic medusa crest with light ribbing on the collar, cuff and hem.
